Cauldron Energy commenced its maiden drilling program at the Melrose Project, situated in the Dalwallinu region of Western Australia, approximately 250 km north of Perth.
With a planned air core drilling of up to 5,000m, the program targets nickel and copper along a linear trend marked by coincident magnetic and historical geochemical anomalies.
The Melrose Project covers a vast area of approximately 1,507 km2, making it the largest contiguous Nickel-Copper-PGE prospective landholding in the Barrabarra Greenstone Belt section of the West Yilgarn Craton.
The drilling aims to explore various targets identified through geochemistry, airborne electromagnetic, and magnetic targets, with results informing subsequent reverse circulation drilling plans.
