Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) has presented its CETO wave-energy technology at the EuropeWave conference in Brussels.
Carnegie is one of five contractors taking part in Phase 2 of the €20 million ($22 million) EuropeWave PCP Programme, sharing a €3.6 million budget for the phase that commenced in October 2022 and runs through to June 2023.
Phase 2 includes tank testing of critical technologies in Spain.
The company’s CEO, Jonathan Fiévez called the event a “significant CETO progression” and says the program would validate device performance and reliability while opening doors for the technology in the European electricity market and beyond.
