During a live AMA session from Wyoming, Charles Hoskinson, Cardano's (CRYPTO:ADA) founder, provided an update on the progress towards the Chang hard fork, signaling it is nearing completion with node 9.0 almost ready for release.

This milestone, following the completion of CIP 1694, marks a pivotal moment in Cardano's journey towards enhanced governance capabilities under the age of Voltaire.

Hoskinson emphasised the upcoming governance changes and the community's role in decision-making processes.

Looking forward, he discussed the complexities of the Basho era, focusing on scalability and network optimization, highlighting upcoming milestones like Plutus V3 and Hydra.

Despite technical difficulties during the session, Hoskinson affirmed Cardano's evolution into a robust blockchain platform, driven by community engagement and maturation.
