Capricorn Metals faces disruptions at its Karlawinda Gold Project due to heavy rainfall, resulting in over eight days of lost mining in the March quarter.

Despite operational setbacks, the processing plant remains unaffected.

Lower-grade stockpiles are being treated, and higher-grade ore block access is postponed, leading to an anticipated gold production of approximately 26,000 ounces for the quarter.

Capricorn aims for the lower end of its FY24 gold production guidance to 115,000 from 125,000 ounces and expects FY24 AISC to align with the upper range of $1,270 to $1,370 per ounce.
