Caprice Resources (ASX:CRS) says its identified a significant rare earth element soil anomaly over at least 300m and open along strike with rock chips and soil samples returning up to 3,761ppm REO at its Mukindbudin REE project.

Caprice Resources also says more than 1km of outcropping pegmatite remains untested along strike of the soil anomaly, and is coincident with outcropping zoned pegmatite.

The company says further sampling is planned to test the remaining strike length of QC2, as well as to systematically assess other areas within the project for REE bearing pegmatites.

Caprice Resources' Managing Director, Andrew Muir says: "Whilst the sampling only tested three specific targets, to identify elevated REEs in one of these is an excellent outcome."
