The Canton Network facilitated 155 participants from 45 organisations to settle real-world assets across 22 blockchains, demonstrating distributed ledger technology's potential in finance.

Major financial entities like Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, and Cboe Global Markets participated in a pilot test, executing over 350 simulated transactions involving tokenised assets, fund registry, digital cash, and securities lending.

The test showcased blockchain's versatility, involving a diverse group from the financial sector, including asset managers, banks, custodians, exchanges, and stablecoin leader Paxos Trust.

This successful pilot marks a significant step towards using blockchain for more efficient and secure financial transactions, indicating progress towards a streamlined global financial system.
