    Calix (ASX: CXL) advances Direct Air Capture projects with Heirloom

    Calix reported progress on its Direct Air Capture projects with Heirloom in partnership, aiming to remove up to 320,000 tons of CO2 annually.

    Under an exclusive license agreement, Calix's subsidiary, Leilac, will supply technology to two DAC facilities in Shreveport, Louisiana.

    The first facility, targeting 17,000 tons per year, will start operations in 2026.

    The second, part of Project Cypress, backed by the US Department of Energy, aims for 300,000 tons annually by 2027.
