Spartan Resources reported new assay results from its ongoing surface diamond drilling at the Dalgaranga Gold Project's Pepper Gold Deposit.

Highlights include an impressive intercept of 27.01m at 39.15g/t gold from 606.74m down-hole, marking a new project record.

The results continue to confirm the high-grade gold mineralisation noted in the July inferred mineral resource estimate, currently standing at 438,000 ounces at 7.66g/t gold.

The drilling efforts aim to upgrade resources from Inferred to higher-confidence Indicated categories.

Spartan's Interim Executive Chair, Simon Lawson, commented on the updates, "From discovery, Pepper has returned some of the best drill intercept assays seen at Dalgaranga, including several top-20 project intercepts."

"These latest intercepts are important in-fill holes targeting conversion to higher confidence indicated resource classification," Lawson added.

The intercepts come from drill holes DGDH074 and DGDH074-W1, delivering the #1 and #4 project intercepts to date.

Figures include 27.01m @ 39.15g/t gold and 19.57m @ 22.06g/t gold, respectively.

Spartan continues its dedicated drilling campaign to delineate additional Indicated ounces and advance towards pre-feasibility and final investment decision stages, bolstering the Dalgaranga Project’s long-term sustainability and profitability.

Spartan Resources is an ASX-listed gold company with a portfolio of assets in Western Australia.

The company's flagship asset is the Dalgaranga Gold Project, located approximately 65km northwest of Mt Magnet in the Murchison Region of Western Australia.
