Enero Group (ASX:EGG) said its CEO and Executive Director, Brent Scrimshaw, has resigned to pursue another opportunity.

The departure marks the end of Scrimshaw's tenure of four and a half years at the helm of the company.

Enero Chair, Ann Sherry AO, said  "On behalf of the board I would like to sincerely thank Brent for his contribution to Enero over the past 4 and a half years and wish him well in his next role."

Scrimshaw reflected on his time with the company positively. "It has been a great privilege to lead Enero Group's portfolio around the world, together with an amazing global team of exceptionally talented, creative and highly skilled people."

"I wish the team great success and look forward to watching their continued progress in the future," added Scrimshaw.

Current Non-Executive Director and incoming Chair, Ian Rowden, will take on his new responsibilities from Oct. 18.

The Enero board has initiated a search to identify a new CEO.
