BPM Minerals (ASX:BPM) has completed an additional 40 aircore holes totalling 2,129m at the high-grade Louie discovery within the Claw Gold Project in Western Australia.
The drilling extended upon previous work that identified significant gold mineralisation.
Results from the latest samples are anticipated by mid-October.
The Louie discovery, located just south of Capricorn Metals' (ASX:CMM) Mount Gibson Gold Project, holds significant exploration potential.
In a recent drilling campaign, the standout hole, CAC186, revealed an intercept of 30m at 1.84g/t Au from 25m, including 5m at 7.12g/t Au from 35m.
The zone remains a prime target for further exploration. "We're pleased to have completed this second round of drilling at Louie, part of the Claw Gold Project. This is shaping as a highly promising greenfields discovery in one of Western Australia's most prospective gold corridors," said Oliver Judd, CEO of BPM Minerals.
"The upcoming assays, due mid-October, will guide us toward deeper reverse circulation drilling. This is the beginning, and investors can expect a steady stream of updates over the year as we advance the Louie Discovery and the broader project that has the potential to host multiple gold deposits," Judd added.
The infill drilling has brought the drill traverses to 100m spacings, improving the precision of future exploratory efforts.
BPM Minerals has also indicated plans for a 2,500m reverse circulation drilling program to target the high-grade gold mineralisation at depth, which is projected to commence later this year.
The company intends to aggressively explore the 8km prospective corridor that extends south from Louie through the Chickie prospect, aiming to unlock additional strike areas through future drilling campaigns and geophysical studies.
