Burgundy Diamond Mines commenced a delineation and geotechnical drilling program at the Sable site to explore the ore body beneath the existing open pit.

Following a previous reverse circulation drilling program, the program will involve up to 17 drill holes covering around 5,865m.

Results from the efforts, expected later this year, will inform Burgundy's mine-life strategy.

The company's board backs the exploration as Burgundy Diamond Mines continues strategic advancements in the diamond industry.
