      The ASX continued a losing streak into Wednesday, closing the midweek session 1.03% lower at 7332.50 points as investors sold-out of risk assets like tech stocks.

      Payroll jobs data out today for December showed a decline of 0.1% for the month of December, while total wages paid increased by 3% from November.

      BrainChip rocketed again today to close the session 12.37% higher after hitting a fresh record intra day high following the AI tech company announcing its neuromorphic artificial intelligence chips received a patent in the US.

      NiCo Resources launched 80% on its ASX debut. Following an IPO at 20 cents per share raising 12 million dollars, shares in the mineral exploration and development company soared 80% to close its debut session at 36 cents per share.

      Pointerra jumped 12.5% today after the 3D geospatial data tech company released its second quarter update including record quarterly cash receipts from customers of $2.85 million
