Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) begins production at Alta Mesa uranium plant in South Texas

Boss Energy has commenced production at its 30%-owned Alta Mesa in-situ recovery central processing uranium plant and wellfields in South Texas.

The milestone comes just eight weeks after starting production at the company's Honeymoon Project in South Australia.

The Alta Mesa Project is expected to ramp up to a steady-state production rate of 1.5Mlbs of uranium per year.

Boss Energy is also ramping up production at its 100%-owned Honeymoon Project, targeting an annual output of 2.45Mlbs of uranium.
