Boeing (NYSE:BA) announced on Tuesday that it delivered 44 planes in June, its highest monthly total commercial jet deliveries for the year.

However, this figure represents a 27% decrease from the same period last year, as the company faces ongoing legal and production issues.

Among the deliveries, Boeing handed over five 777 freighters, including two to Air China.

This marks the resumption of widebody deliveries to China after they were paused this spring due to a regulatory review by Chinese authorities.

In June, Boeing also received 11 orders for 777 freighters, making it the third-highest month ever for this model, out of a total of 14 gross orders for the month.
