Boab Metals (ASX:BML) has started the Phase VII drilling program at its 75% owned Sorby Hills Lead-Silver-Zinc Project in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

The company said the program includes 2,000m across 19 diamond drill holes and aims to increase the Norton deposit Reserve base.

It also said the drilling is expected to take about six weeks, with assay results targeted for mid-Q3 2023.

Boab Metals is also working towards a final investment decision on the Sorby Hills Project while continuing discussions with financiers.
