Brian Rose, an independent mayoral candidate in London and host of the London Real podcast, is advocating for the use of blockchain-based voting systems to enhance transparency and rebuild public trust in election processes.

Highlighting a significant decline in public confidence, Rose points to the plummeting trust in political parties within the United Kingdom.

According to a March 2024 report by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), only 12% of the public trusted political parties in 2023, a notable decrease from 20% in 2022.

Beyond his push for voting system reform, Rose is also championing the creation of a new London cryptocurrency aimed at boosting financial education in the Greater London area.

Through these initiatives, Rose seeks to leverage technology to foster a more informed and engaged electorate while promoting greater financial literacy among Londoners.
