Crypto influencers can spike short-term interest in crypto investment, but adoption will come from practical blockchain technology applications, experts said at the World Crypto Forum (WCF) in Davos.
The discussion panel, which included Cointelegraph's Kristina Lucrezia Cornèr, also discussed the influence of social media on the crypto sector.
Cornèr acknowledged that while people often enter the crypto space driven by the promise of wealth, blockchain tech offers solutions to a range of societal issues, pointing out the industry is currently in a phase of greed.
Adoption of blockchain will come from a wider understanding and application of the technology, attendees suggested.
