Bitcoin developer Luke Dashjr has expressed a strong negative stance against Ordinal inscriptions, which are elements embedded directly onto the BTC blockchain.

Dashjr labels these inscriptions as "spam" and "exploits" and has already implemented a fix in Bitcoin Knots, his own version of node software.

His criticism extends to the possibility of correcting this issue in an upcoming release of Bitcoin Core, the primary full-node software for the Bitcoin network.

Dashjr's actions have created divisions within the Bitcoin community, with several prominent members opposing his viewpoint.
