Binance has introduced support for Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) ARC-20 atomical assets in its Web3 wallet through the Inscriptions Marketplace.

This integration enables users to create fungible tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain, akin to Ethereum's (CRYPTO:ETH) ERC-20 standard.

The Atomicals protocol, developed in January, facilitates the minting, transfer, and update of nonfungible tokens (NFTs) on Bitcoin, ensuring transparent ownership and history.

Binance offers zero-fee trading on ARC-20 tokens until June 2, 2024, to commemorate the integration.

Bitcoin Atomicals find utility beyond NFTs, including web hosting, file storage, atomic swaps, and decentralised social media.
