Oil and gas producer Beach Energy reported a 4% month-on-month production decline due to planned downtime at Kupe and Lang Lang gas plants, offset by increased Otway and Cooper Basin gas production.

Sales revenue for the quarter surged by 37% to $408 million, driven by the first Waitsia LNG cargo and a one-off condensate cargo.

Waitsia gas plant construction progressed, with the first gas targeted in mid-2024.

The company's full-year guidance range has been revised to 18-20 million barrels and capital expenditure to $900 million to $1 billion.
