Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO) discovers copper and REE in Gyttorp Project

Bastion Minerals reported findings from its Gyttorp Project in Sweden, confirming high-grade copper and rare earth elements.

Laboratory assays revealed copper mineralisation in rock chips up to 5.1% and rare earth elements including TREE+Y up to 8.3%, with heavy REE up to 60% and magnetic REE averaging 24%.

The company has also planned a ground magnetic survey across the project area, which spans over 3km, ahead of a drilling program.

"These results confirm the high-grade nature of the project and support our intention to carry out a detailed ground magnetic survey over the 3 km REE trend and area of elevated copper, to define drill targets, once the magnetic survey is interpreted," said Bastion Minerals Executive Chairman Ross Landles.
