Australian company Basin Energy (ASX:BSN) has expanded its Geikie Uranium Project by adding two additional claims, amounting to 11.87km2 of land, bringing the total project area to 350.87km2.
The new claims are located next to the areas in Saskatchewan, Canada, where Basin Energy's initial exploration drilling is taking place.
The company has also hired Geotech to provide extra Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic data coverage for the new claim area.
Current drilling at Geikie is in progress, totalling an initial 2,000 metres for eight drill holes.
