Barry Silbert steps down as Grayscale investments' chairman

Barry Silbert, founder of Digital Currency Group (DCG), has stepped down as chairman of Grayscale Investments.

DCG's CFO, Mark Shifke, will take over Silbert's duties.

Edward McGee and Matthew Kummell are also joining the revamped board.

Silbert said his departure is part of a plan for "Grayscale's Next Chapter".
