    Bank of China finalises first international digital yuan commodities transaction

    The Bank of China Hong Kong (BOCHK), the region's second largest bank, has finalised its first cross-border transaction using digital yuan.

    The transaction involved BOCHK receiving payment for the trade of imported iron ore, consequently establishing the digital yuan as an option for this type of transaction.
