Avira Resources initiated the Phase 2 diamond drilling campaign at the Puolalaki Ni-Cu-Co-Au Project in northern Sweden.

The program includes six drill holes covering 805m, with four targeting infill of massive nickel sulphide mineralisation from previous intercepts.

A 300m drill hole aims at a 40,000SI off-hole conductor, and the final drill hole targets a SkyTEM anomaly north of the historic Purnu open pit mine.

The drilling, expected to conclude in two to three weeks, anticipates first assay results by late January.

The Puolalaki Project, located in Sweden's Gällivare mining district, contains significant Ni-Cu-Co mineralisation and high-grade gold mineralisation in metasediments and metavolcanics around a syn-orogenic gabbro intrusion.
