XPeng (NYSE:XPEV) celebrates 10 years with 14,036 August EV deliveries

XPeng Motors (NYSE:XPEV) has announced its latest delivery figures, showcasing a significant uptick in Smart EV deliveries.

The company delivered 14,036 Smart EVs in August 2024, marking a 3% increase year-over-year and an impressive 26% rise from July 2024.

This brings the total deliveries for the first eight months of 2024 to 77,209 units, reflecting a robust 17% growth compared to the same period last year.

The crescendo of these achievements coincided with XPeng's 10th Anniversary Gala Night on August 27.

The event was celebrated with the unveiling of the MONA M03, an all-electric hatchback coupe poised to redefine urban electric mobility.

The initial batch of the MONA M03s was delivered to customers on August 30 at the Chengdu Auto Show.

In addition to the vehicle launch, XPeng has made strides in AI technology, introducing a new AI architecture and the XPeng Turing chip.

These advancements are part of the company’s ambitious goals to lead the next decade of smart mobility innovations.

Following the announcement, XPeng's share price rose over 2% to $8.05 in early trading.
