VinFast Auto (NASDAQ:VFS) today announced a significant surge in vehicle and e-scooter/e-bike deliveries for the first quarter of 2025, highlighting a period of rapid expansion for the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer.
According to preliminary figures, VinFast delivered 36,330 electric vehicles globally in Q1 2025, a remarkable 296% increase compared to the same period last year.
The growth was notably driven by strong demand for the company's VF 5 and VF 6 models, which saw year-over-year increases of 153% and 453%, respectively.
The VF 3 and VF 5 models together accounted for a substantial 67% of total EV deliveries during the quarter.
In addition to electric vehicles, VinFast also reported robust growth in its burgeoning e-scooter and e-bike segment, with 44,904 units delivered in the first quarter of 2025.
This represents a substantial 473% increase year-over-year, indicating a growing adoption of VinFast's two-wheeled electric mobility solutions.
