Australian Unity Investment Real Estate Limited (AUIREL), a subsidiary of Australian Unity Office Fund (ASX:AOF) and Keppel Capital Holdings, has announced a contract has been exchanged to sell 5 Eden Park Drive, Macquarie Park for $80.75M.

AUIREL says the sale price is 1% higher than the 30 June 2022 independent valuation of $80M and settlement is expected in March 2023.

Fund Manager, Nikki Panagopoulos says the sale will leave the fund with no drawn debt and over $40M in cash, which gives them the opportunity to consider returning capital to unitholders through a special distribution.

Results for the half year ending 31 December 2022 will be announced on Monday, 27 February 2023.
