Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said he trusts US President Donald Trump, despite recent surveys showing growing disapproval of the American leader in Australia. Speaking in their second televised debate on Wednesday, Albanese added he had "no reason not to" trust China's leader Xi Jinping. Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said he didn't know either of them well enough to say. Australia is heading to an election early May, with Albanese's center-left Labor government currently seeing a recovery in opinion polling.
