Austin Engineering (ASX:ANG) has announced an increase in the production capacity and capability of its operations in Batam, Indonesia, driven by an increase in H1 FY23 revenue.

The loading and hauling solutions maker says a combination of a new site lease and expansion of its existing facilities will increase its current capacity of 12,000 m2 by almost 100%.

It also says it's well advanced in employing another 150 production workers, and has been strengthening its management team all year.

Austin Engineering says the expanded, advanced manufacturing operations will be fully operational in early January next year.
