Ausmon Resources (ASX:AOA) has announced the WA Department of Mines Industry Regulations and Safety (DMIRS) has granted two exploration licenses totaling 275.8 km2 to AUSBCM, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, for five years.

The tenements are located within Nambi and Banjawarn Pastoral properties and are planned to be explored for lithium potential in the 2nd half of 2023.

Ausmon Resources says its reviewed geological, geochemical and geophysical data sets for the area, noting a concentration of pegmatite occurrences that have had limited sampling for lithium potential.

The regional geology is Archean Yilgarn Craton granite/greenstone terranes, with the lithium operations located primarily within the greenstone terranes, and the lithology of the tenement areas is primarily a fine to coarse grained monzogranite.
