Australian tech firm Aurora Labs (ASX:A3D) has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabian oil company Aramco.

Aurora Labs specialises in 3D metal printers, powders, digital parts and their associated intellectual property, with the MoU offering exchange of information pertaining to Aurora's AL250 3D printer and market insights, focused on Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council market.

The deal was signed during a visit to Perth's Aurora Labs' Perth facility by senior executives of Aramco.

Shares of Aurora Labs are up 48% in early trading.
