Aurora Energy Metals announced updates on its ongoing scoping study for the Aurora Uranium Project, set to conclude next quarter.

The study forecasts an 11-year mine life with an annual production of two million tonnes, featuring a low strip ratio.

The study emphasised an environmentally conscious mining approach, with progressive backfilling, and reports no major regulatory hurdles.

Aurora aims to focus on the high-grade zone of the AUP mineral resource to enhance uranium feed grade. Transport and infrastructure studies confirmed the feasibility of material transfer to a Nevada processing facility.
