Auroch Minerals (ASX:AOU) has confirmed a LCT-pegmatite discovery at Kangaroo Hills lithium in Western Australia, that it owns with Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR).

Auroch Minerals says assay results have been returned for four drill holes which all intercepted spodumene bearing lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites.

It also says one hole intercepted a 35m thick pegmatite which returned a spectacular intercept of 29m @ 1.36% lithium oxide from 38m, highlighting the potential for a large-scale shallow lithium rich pegmatite.

Auroch Minerals says the company is fully funded for the next round of drilling, with preparations for a follow up drill campaign to commence immediately.
