Aurelia Metals (ASX:AMI) has reported on its quarterly activities ending September 30, highlighting its Federation mine study showing it as one of the great discoveries in the Cobar Basin.

Results showed it was a strong technical and economic development case, and one of the highest-grade base metals? projects in Australia.

The Australian mining and exploration company has three operating gold mines in NSW, and in FY22 produced 98,461 ounces of gold at a cost of $1,707 per ounce.

Production was just up on the previous quarter, with group gold production of 22.5koz at a cost of $2,643 per ounce.
