    Atlas Arteria (ASX:ALX) shows growth in Q4 2023: 2.2% more traffic, 5.9% higher toll revenue

    Atlas Arteria reported a 2.2% year-on-year increase in weighted average traffic and a 5.9% rise in weighted average toll revenue for the December 2023 quarter.

    The company booked a 3.3% rise in traffic and a 6.9% increase in toll revenue for the period, driven by robust performance in France and toll hikes across APRR, AREA, ADELAC, Warnow Tunnel, and Chicago Skyway.

    APRR Group experienced strong traffic growth, with light vehicle traffic up 3.4% in the fourth quarter of 2023. ADELAC reported a 3.9% traffic increase, while Warnow Tunnel faced a 7.0% decline due to roadworks.

    Chicago Skyway saw a 14.2% decrease in Q4 traffic, impacted by ITR roadworks, but toll revenue increased by 2.7%. Dulles Greenway reported a 4.2% traffic rise in Q4 2023, driven by higher weekday traffic, with toll revenue increasing by 7.7%.

    Over the 12 months, traffic and toll revenue at Dulles Greenway were 6.4% and 8.5% higher than in 2022.
