Atlantic Lithium (ASX:A11) has responded to a "false and misleading" report regarding its partner, Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL), and announced that trading in its shares on the ASX will be restored.

Atlantic Lithium says it holds valid licenses and permits for its current activities and refutes allegations of impropriety made by the report, released by Blue Orca Capital.

The company also announced that it has purchased 100% of the ownership of Joy Transporters and has applied for a Mining Licence for its Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana.

Atlantic Lithium says it has a zero-tolerance policy on bribery and corruption and operates in accordance with the most stringent levels of corporate governance, and is seeking legal advice to address the claims made by the Report.
