The ASX opened in the green, with Energy stocks leading the market higher. 

The stocks showing the biggest gains at the open are: AngloGold leading the Large Caps, followed by AUB Group in the Mid Caps, 29 Metals leads the Small Caps, and 4DS Memory is topping the Micro Caps.

The biggest losers at the beginning of the session are Atlas Arteria which is the worst Large Cap, A2 Milk Company is the lowest Mid Cap, the worst performing Small Cap is 4DMedical, and Micro-Cap is 8VI Holdings .

A spotlight on Woodside Energy as it approves investment for the Trion resource in Mexico with a forecast total expenditure of $US7.2B.
