The ASX opened in the green this morning with the Materials sector leading the market higher.

The stocks showing the biggest gains this morning are: Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) in the Large Caps, followed by Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) in the Mid Caps, Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN) in the Small Caps, and Discovex Resources (ASX:DCX) is topping the Micro Caps.

The biggest losers at the beginning of the session are Contact Energy (ASX:CEN) which is the worst performing Large Cap, Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) is the worst performing Mid Cap, the worst performing Small Cap is Highfield Resources (ASX:HFR), and the worst performing Micro-Cap is Cyclone Metals (ASX:CLE).

Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) is trading at a 1-month high.

Hammer Metals (ASX:HMX) is trading at a 2-month high.

And Boab Metals (ASX:BML) is trading at a 3-month high.
