    ASX Futures pointing lower after Dow Jones closed up 0.7%

    • ASX Futures trading lower ahead of the market open in Sydney.
    • Dow Jones closed up 238.06 points.
    • Bitcoin is trading at US$41,000.

    The ASX Futures is trading down 19 points, or 0.3% lower ahead of the market open in Sydney.

    It follows the Dow Jones, which rose 0.7% to finish the trading day up 238 points to close at 34,049 points.

    Earlier, markets in Europe were weaker as London?s FTSE and Germany?s DAX finished the trading day lower.

    The Australian dollar is buying 71.82 US cents.

    Gold is trading at US$1,897.50 per ounce.

    WTI Crude oil is selling for US$98.55 per barrel, while Brent oil is trading at US$102.25 per barrel.

    The spot price for iron ore is US$145.50 per metric tonne and one bitcoin is worth US$40,166 going into the Asian trading day.
