The ASX Futures is trading down 119 points, or 1.6% lower ahead of the market open in Sydney.
It follows the Dow Jones, which fell 2.4% to finish the trading day down 809 points to close at 33,240 points.
Earlier, markets in Europe were mixed as London?s FTSE finished up while Germany?s DAX finished the trading day lower.
The Australian dollar is buying 71.21 US cents.
Gold is trading at US$1,905.11 per ounce.
WTI Crude oil is selling for US$101.57 per barrel, while Brent oil is trading at US$98.61 per barrel.
The spot price for iron ore is US$136.50 per metric tonne and one bitcoin is worth US$38,414 going into the Asian trading day.
