ASX Futures pointing higher after Dow Jones closed up 1.6%

The ASX Futures is trading up 119 points, or 1.7% higher ahead of the market open in Sydney.

It follows the Dow Jones, which rose 1.6% to finish the trading day up 519 points to close at 34,063 points.

Earlier, markets in Europe had a strong session as London?s FTSE and Germany?s DAX finished the trading day higher.

The Australian dollar is buying 72.87 US cents.

Gold is trading at US$1,926.29 per ounce.

WTI Crude oil is selling for US$94.80 per barrel, while Brent oil is trading at US$98.31 per barrel.

The spot price for iron ore is US$136.50 per metric tonne and one bitcoin is worth US$41,181 going into the Asian trading day.
