    ASX closes higher; Darwinbox backed by Salesforce; Cutii?s robotic care

    The Aussie market has closed in the green, up 1.19% to 6742.60 points, with utilities the only sector to close flat.

    Tyro was today?s biggest winner amongst All Ordinaries, skyrocketing nearly 26% to AUD$2.92/share.

    Tech stocks gained more than 1.5%, with Wisetech Global adding more than 5%.

    Bitcoin is trading around US$36,000, but JPMorgan issued a price crash warning for the cryptocurrency if it doesn?t "break out" over US$40,000 again soon.

    In tech news, cloud-based human resource management software company Darwinbox has raised US$15M in a new round of funding ahead of a planned expansion in India and Southeast Asia.

    Dominating the headlines, Australia?s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly, has not ruled out a booster shot being required after a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine amid reports the AstraZeneca vaccine is less effective than its Pfizer counterpart.

    And care giving to the elderly is turning futuristic as companion care robot Cutii prepares to hit the market. Launched at CES 2021, Cutii is designed to help connect people and offers games, video calls, night patrol and music.
