    The Australian market closed 0.09% higher at 6773 points to start the week as the gold miners boosted the key index.

    The tech sector led the losses as Afterpay plunged 4.49% to AUD$108.33/share, while Bravura Solutions, Nearmap and Altium each shed more than 2%.

    Bitcoin has retracted from its record-setting weekend high to trade at US$59,161.92 at 5pm AEDT.

    Perth-based eSports tournaments and gaming company Emerge Gaming soared after it reported subscriber numbers had topped 300,000, generating $4.5M.

    Making headlines, Qantas surged after Macquarie upgraded the flying kangaroo to "outperform" in anticipation of a boost in domestic travel on the back of the Federal Government's $1.2BN aviation rescue package.

    And new data has shown 16-year-old Charli D?Amelio is the most followed person on TikTok with more than 110 million followers. She earns $83,602 per post.
