    The Australian market fell at the closing bell to finish just 2.4 points higher on Thursday at 7094.4 as the gold miners plunged while tech stocks balanced out the losses.

    The tech sector was the leading sector for gains today as EML Payments surged 5.17%, Nuix added more than 4% and Codan closed the day 3.93% higher.
