Astute Metals announced high-grade rock chip assay results from its Red Mountain Lithium Project in Nevada, USA.

The results, which include grades of up to 4,150ppm lithium, extend the prospective horizon of mineralisation by 1.4km north of the initial discovery site.

A total of 81 rock-chip samples were collected, revealing the presence of high-grade lithium claystone mineralisation.

Twenty samples returned grades over 1,000ppm lithium, indicating the presence of high-grade clays across the area. Assay results for eight remaining drill holes are expected by the end of July.
