Aspire Mining received approval for its detailed environmental impact assessment from the Professional Council of the Ministry of Nature, Environment, and Tourism for the Coal handling and preparation plant at the Ovoot Coking Coal Project.
The assessment addresses community concerns about dust mitigation and water usage efficiency.
The project's design allows for processing 350 tonnes per hour of run-of-mine coal, with potential for future expansions, ensuring long-term operation up to 7200 hours annually.
The approval enables Aspire Mining to proceed with the construction of the Coal handling and preparation plant and mining within the Ovoot license area, securing major permits.
