Arizona Lithium has received approval from the US Bureau of Land Management for exploration drilling at the Big Sandy Lithium Project in Arizona, USA.

Drilling operations are set to begin in late July and will be managed by Navajo Transitional Energy under a mining services agreement established in March.

The company was also informed that the BLM has not received any appeals following the decision to approve the permit of exploration.

"Plans are well advanced to commence drilling later in July and the taking of a bulk sample of Big Sandy ore for processing at the Lithium Research Centre in Tempe, Arizona," said Paul Lloyd, managing director of Arizona Lithium.
