Australian mining company Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) has received final approval to begin drilling at the Paradox Lithium Project in the US state of Utah.
The Western Strategy drilling program aims to deliver "a substantial increase" to the Paradox Project's existing Joint Ore Reserves Committee Mineral Resource, and will target the lithium-containing brines of the Mississippian and Pennsylvanian aquifers.
Anson Resources says the final approval - the requisite Reclamation Bond, has been paid to the Utah State Treasurer Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining.
The company's share price is up 5.56% for the year to date.
