Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) has taken its collaboration with Grubhub to a new level, announcing on Thursday that U.S. customers can now order directly from Grubhub through both the Amazon shopping app and its website.

This move not only simplifies the ordering process for customers but also deepens the ties between the two companies.

Under the enhanced agreement, Amazon Prime members retain their benefit of a complimentary Grubhub+ membership, valued annually at $120, which includes free delivery on orders exceeding $12.

This perk, part of Amazon's strategy to add value to its Prime subscription, was first introduced in 2022 and subsequently extended into 2023 due to positive customer feedback.

The latest development integrates Grubhub more closely with Amazon Prime, making the food delivery service a fixture of the Prime membership package.

This integration ensures that Prime members will enjoy continued access to Grubhub+ benefits each year as long as they maintain their subscription.
